ANALOGUE PHOTO SERIES
I use Instagram as a space to archive my experimental analogue photography using colour shifting 35mm films and double exposures. As a few of the print team found my Instagram, I was asked to commission some analogue photography to the milk print issue under the brief, ‘a dreamy, cultural photo series showcasing why Bath is a great place to be a student’.

We had been asked to think about what ‘community’ meant to us, and for me, it’s been these people and this city.
As a way in keeping with the print theme ‘community', I used Lomochrome Purple 35mm film to capture the friends I had made during my time at Bath Spa University. As well as taking a few photos on Newton Park Campus, I shot the beautiful Bath architecture, such as The Royal Crescent and of course, got a view from Alexandra Park. The friends I captured are all Third Years themselves, and therefore capturing them in the city they have called home for the past three years seemed fitting with the ‘community’ theme, as for many it is also their last year living in Bath.
